Sarah Eigerman
Sarah Eigerman (Artistic Director)
After obtaining her BA and MFA in Theatre from Smith College and NYU Tisch School of the Arts respectively, she acted off-Broadway and regionally.
Ms. Eigerman has taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the T.Schreiber Studio.
Co-founder and Associate Director of The Real Stage in New York, she has also taught numerous independent workshops in Europe.
Since creating FACT in 1989, Sarah Eigerman has directed plays, with the Compagnie Paris-New York among others, in Paris, regionally in France and in Switzerland, and has written several plays in French.
Her most recent directing stint was a theatrical adaptation of George Orwell’s novel, 1984, as part of the Avignon Festival “off”.
